Two-factor authentication (2FA)

2FA adds an extra step when signing in. After your password, Boolby asks for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

To enable 2FA:

1. Open Settings → Security.
2. Click Enable 2FA.
3. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, or another TOTP app.
4. If the QR code does not work, copy the manual setup key instead.
5. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
6. Save your recovery codes.

The QR code is generated by Boolby and shown only during setup. Your manual setup key and recovery codes should be stored somewhere safe.
