Recovery codes

Use recovery codes if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Recovery codes are one-time backup codes for 2FA. They are shown after you enable 2FA and when you regenerate them.

Important rules:

  • Save them immediately; they are not shown again after you leave the page.
  • Each code can be used once.
  • Regenerating codes deletes old unused codes.
  • Support cannot read your recovery codes.

If you lose both your authenticator and recovery codes, open a Support ticket. You may need to prove account ownership before access can be restored.
